Adrianna has been involved with horses for most of her life. For her sixth birthday she was given riding lessons and according to Mom, "It was all downhill from there."
Adrianna is passionate about horses and riding and has spent her career promoting excellence in equine activities and competition through positive experiences for both horse and rider under saddle and on the ground. She cares for her athletes, both equine and human, with the utmost attention to health and safety
After managing several facilities in Utah and Colorado, Adrianna made her way to California to enjoy the beautiful weather year-round in the Santa Ynez Valley. She has a friendly approach to riding and teaching and loves the connection created when a rider or horse understands what is asked throughout the training process. Her experience in Eventing, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper competitions makes her a versatile rider and trainer.
At Etcetera Farm with A & A Equestrian, she looks forward to developing a positive, motivated group of riders as well as bringing quality shows, clinics and educational activities to the Santa Ynez Valley for the good of the equine community.
Agapito is a unique mix of 'salt-of-the-earth' and master artist. He combines the techniques of classical dressage with the practicality of a cowboy. His understanding of the horse is extremely well-developed and he passes this expertise on to his students.
Agapito came to the Santa Ynez Valley and Etcetera Farm in 1989 and began training and riding Trakehner horses. He learned classical dressage and the principles of horsemanship from the likes of Charles de Kunffy and Karl Mikolka. After riding and working with Karl Mikolka, Agapito was invited to train at the Spanish Riding School, an honor and compliment to his natural talent with horses.
During this time, he also began experimenting with the Charro style of riding. With his family's background in farming and ranching, it was a natural progression to incorporate working with cows and riding in the western style. Agapito brings his extensive experience to every lesson and helps the rider to better understand the horse, from simple ground exercises up to very advanced dressage movements. He works with riders in Dressage, Western Dressage, Working Cow, Roping, Cutting, Charro, and General Horsemanship.
